Search using MyEcoSeek from your address bar

If you want to search using myecoseek.com from the address bar in FireFox follow these steps:

  1. In the address bar in FireFox type about:config
  2. Where is says Filter: search for keyword.URL
  3. Double click keyword.URL and change the value to:
    http://www.myecoseek.com/results.php?cx=006473857314956742221%3Atunpf6rfx5s&cof=FORID%3A9&q=
    OR (right click here and choose copy link/shortcut)
  4. Click OK

now to search just type what your lookin’ for in the address bar in FireFox

New custom search added to FireFox

You know that little search box that shows up in the upper right corner on FireFox? Now you can add MyEcoSeek to it! Just go to www.myecoseek.com and click on the search engine box in FireFox and you will see the following option.

add MyEcoSeek.com to FireFox
